Dedicated to health, guided by compassion
My passion for helping people heal didn’t start in a classroom—it started at home. I watched my dad suffer for years with poor health. He weighed over 400 pounds and was prescribed 16 different medications every single day.
The only thing the doctors ever offered him were more drugs and surgeries, never addressing the root cause of his suffering. At just 69 years old, my dad passed away. Watching him struggle made a permanent impact on me.

A Journey of Change
At the same time, I was facing my own health challenges. In my freshman year of high school, I weighed 235 pounds. (First photo: me at 235 pounds, when my nickname was “Huge” because of my first name, Hugh.)
By ninth grade, I was tired of living that way. After a trip to the Boundary Waters, where I dropped 10 pounds in three days, I realized change was possible.
Over the next six months, I lost 80 pounds. (Second photo: me with my mom and dad after my weight loss.) That transformation showed me firsthand the body’s ability to heal when given the right support.

A Journey of Change
Years later, I would watch my dad’s health decline even further. (Third photo: my dad later in life, sick at over 400 pounds and on 16 medications.)
His suffering became my motivation. I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to helping people avoid the same fate—sick, exhausted, and trapped in a medical system that only covers up symptoms instead of addressing the root cause.
For over 26 years
I’ve practiced as a Certified Functional Medicine Clinician, helping thousands of people uncover the root causes of their health challenges.
My approach combines
Functional medicine, functional neurology, and advanced lab-guided protocols to create personalized treatment plans. I use both conventional and functional lab ranges to find answers that traditional medicine often overlooks.
My mission is simple
To give people hope, a plan, and a path forward to restore their health—so they can fully enjoy their families, their work, their kids, their grandkids, and their spouse.
Today, my biggest motivation is my own family
They remind me every single day why I continue this work: so families everywhere can experience more years together, in health and vitality
My areas of focus include:
Functional Medicine & Advanced Lab Testing
Neurology & Dysautonomia
Autoimmune & Inflammatory Conditions
Metabolic & Hormonal Health –
Floxed Recovery

My philosophy is simple: health is possible when we identify and address the root cause. No one should live sick, exhausted, and unable to enjoy their family, their kids, their grandkids, or their spouse. My goal is to give people hope, a plan, and a path forward to restore energy, focus, and confidence in their health
